Why we started Helvetic Drive
A simple idea born from a shared experience between Uganda and Switzerland: reliable transport should be easier to find, easier to book and easier to trust.
We wanted to do transport differently.
Coming from both Uganda and Switzerland, we experienced first-hand how difficult it can be to find reliable and professional transport in Uganda. Unclear pricing, inconsistent vehicle quality and communication that doesn’t always meet expectations can make a journey more complicated than it needs to be.
That experience led us to create Helvetic Drive: a straightforward transport service built around reliable vehicles, professional drivers, clear communication and local knowledge. We combine Swiss organisation and high standards with genuine experience on the ground in Uganda.
